What are Possessive Adjectives?


We use possessive adjectives to show that something belongs to someone.

They always come before a noun.

I becomes my = This is my book.


You becomes your = Is that your pen? 


He becomes his = This is his bike.


She becomes her =  That’s her bag.


It becomes its = The dog is eating its food.


We becomes our = This is our car.


They becomes their = Their house is big.


📝 We do not use apostrophes with possessive adjectives.
