What are Questions?
Questions help us get information. There are two types:
1. Yes/No Questions
You can answer with yes or no.
Form:
(Do / Does / Is / Are / Can / Will) + subject + verb?
Examples:
Do you have a job? → Yes, I do.
Are you ready? → No, I’m not.
Can you work late? → Yes, I can.
Does she speak Spanish? → No, she doesn’t.
2. WH- Questions
These questions start with question words:
What, Where, When, Why, Who, How
Form:
WH- word + (do/does/is/are/can) + subject + verb?
Examples:
What do you do?
Where do you live?
When can you start?
Why do you want this job?
Who is your boss?
